Writing Dialogue and Subtext. Creating a strong Transformational Arc.
Giving your Characters Direction and Dimension. Expressing the Theme.

DAY ONE:
10.00 – 11.15 Structuring and shaping the story and the scene
sequences.
11.15 – 11.30 Short break
11.30 – 12.45 Making a scene. This would cover various types of scenes
that a writer might need to write, including the
establishing scene, the magic and wonder scene,
conflict scenes, exposition scenes, etc.
12.45 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 14.45 Giving your characters direction and dimension.
14.45 – 15.00 Short coffee break
15.00 – 16.00 The function of characters.
DAY TWO:
10.00 – 11.15 Creating great dialogue and subtext.
11.15 – 11.30 Short break
11.30 – 12.45 Expressing the theme through your characters.
This will include a short section on creating cinematic
images to express the theme.
12.45 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 14.45 The transformational arc.
