To celebrate The Danish Film School’s 50 years anniversary we have invited artist and filmmakers Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard to Copenhagen for a 2-day seminar.
Their first feature film, 20,000 Days on Earth, premiered at Sundance in January 2014, winning directing and editing awards. The film, featuring Nick Cave was also nominated best documentary at BAFTA.
Performance and music culture plays a significant role in Iain and Jane’s work, and this has led to some notable collaborations.
We will spend two days in the company of those two great artists and filmmakers.
The seminar will be moderated by Director Andreas Koefoed.
We will extend the seminar not only to our cinema but also include screens outside the cinema with selected video arts from Iain and Jane. Saturday evening you can sign up for a mingling dinner where we will enjoy a light dinner prepared on the barbeque and drinks. Don’t miss the chance of mingling and listen to music from Nick Cave and Gil Scott-Heron.
